This Saturday, the Texas Chautauqua Association hosted the first annual Indian Summer in Round Rock, Texas. Featured performances included Round Rock Ballet Folklorico, Paint Horse, and the Sahawe Dancers from Uvalde, Texas.
Other activities included beading, flint knapping, atlatl throwing, drumming, Native American flute demonstrations, leather stamping, medicine wheels, story telling, and tomahawk throwing.
This experience was a first for me and I was not disappointed! It was very hard to select just a few of my favorite images from this event to share on the blog.
