From our beautiful bride, Amy:
The big day was so wonderful! It was an exceptionally cold day in Austin, but we managed to keep warm together. I had a real "situation" with my hair and took the horrible "updo" out of my hair just minutes before we had to leave because I just couldn't stand it. I ended up with a bad ponytail and had to hope it wasn't going to be noticable. We decided all the boys would wear tuxes to avoid having to coordinate all the new clothes for the kids and it was such a treat to see them all cleaned up and so handsome.
Both David and I have both been married before and as "mature" couple, our real priority was to just have our kids at the wedding. We really wanted to make it special for them and something they would have fond memories of over time. We involved each of them in a part of the ceremony. My son, Oliver walked me down the aisle, Jack played the guitar, Blake read a scripture and Olivia was responsible for the rings. We included a special "Family/Unity" blessing into the ceremony and it was a very special moment. I added a third ring to finger to symbolize the blending of the family.
Tim Kyle shot the entire event for us and we are so happy with how he did this. His eye and ability to perfectly capture the moment and each personality is remarkable! All thanks to him for his amazing work!!
